A General-purpose Business-incubator Was Opened in Veliky Novgorod

On April, 17 a business-incubator was opened in Veliky Novgorod at Novgorod fund of supporting small business. Any beginning businessman who has been running business during less than three years can apply for an office and consultative help. The head of the region Andrey Nikitin visited the site.
“Already now it is clear that the experience of working with business-incubators is successful. It is a systematic work – business-incubators will be open in the districts, too, because we are interested in economic growth, new workplaces and supporting of entrepreneurship”, - underlined Andrey Nikitin.
There already are three residents in the business-incubator. Among them is the company working with software and web site development. The manufacturer of sports clothes and the company creating advertising videos have also got space on the site.
It is important for us that creative business is coming, including companies which work with innovative technologies. But we have many applications and we consider all young businessmen” - noted the director of the business-incubator Vladimir Pavlov.
About 235 thousand USD have been invested into creating the business-incubator from regional treasury and from the budget of Novgorod fund of supporting small business.
There are 6 offices for the residents on the site. A coworking area for 12 places and a room for negotiations and presentations for up to 10 persons are equipped.
According to the chairman of the board of Novgorod fund of supporting small business Grigory Stepanov, a resident can work on the site during up to three years.
The businessmen are offered to rent offices of the area from 13 to 27 square meters on beneficial conditions, telecommunication, bookkeeping and legal services, help in searching loans and investors, support in getting grants, participating in seminars and trainings for free.
Let’s remind that the first business-incubator was opened in Veliky Novgorod in the end of 2018 on the territory of “Trust of green household”. Businessmen who work in the area of floristics and design.
