Regional ministry of the investment policy informs that it is planned to finish the construction of jam producing enterprise in the village of Krestsy in October. It became known on August 27 during the Council form improving the investment climate under the governor of Novgorod region.
The investor in the person of LLC “Yagoda” intends to produce a wide range of jam from frozen raw materials, including Novgorod berries, under the trademark “Lukashinskie”.
According to the CEO of LLC “Yagoda” Dmitry Kolpakov, the volume of investments into the project is 1,3 million USD, planned production volume is 2 million USD per year.
Since October 2019 a great work has been carried out for the future enterprise: a big building has been constructed, sewage system and gas boiler house have been made, storage utilities have been built. 50 new workplaces will be created in the factory. The 1st employees are already being trained in the other enterprise of the investor – LLC “Roskonservprodukt” known for high-quality canned fruit and vegetables. The products of LLC “Roskonservprodukt” are presented in the largest retail chains of the country.
Dmitry Kolpakov noted the assistance of the administration of the Krestetsky district and Novgorod region development agency in the implementation of the investment project.
The construction of the second stage of the factory is planned for 2021.
