Key meeting of Novgorod region development agency with French-Russian chamber of commerce and industry took place within the forum of the Russian fund of Russian direct investments “Investments into regions - investments into the future”, which took place on November, 7 in Moscow.
Director of Novgorod region development agency Alexander Dementiev and his deputy Victor Bykov discussed the steps of interaction with deputy CEO Olga Belyakova and deputy head of the development department Roman Tuchin.
Let’s note that primary agreement about cooperation with French-Russian chamber of commerce and industry was reached during the visit of Novgorod region development agency’s employees to the II Congress of investment agencies and development corporations, which took place from September, 26 till September, 28 in Kazan.
During the meeting it was decided to begin interaction in attracting investments into Novgorod region, as well as to establish trade relations with French business, to introduce the region and to tell why Novgorod land is interesting. Nowadays there are no operating enterprises with French capital in Novgorod region, that’s why the French have all the chances to occupy the available sites.
Now Novgorod region development agency is making a list of branches which could be interesting for both parties. Business-mission to France is planned for 2020.
