In the conditions of closed borders, Novgorod exporters continue to work through electronic trading platforms. According to the Novgorod export support center, during the period of restrictions, about 35 companies have placed their products and services on such electronic platforms as Europages, ebay, Etsy, Alibaba, DTAD, All.biz. We also plan to visit Europages, Amazon, and Fordaq.
Among those who decided to go online, there are manufacturers of leather goods, Christmas toys, handmade jewelry, clothing, tableware, food, electrical components, lighting, gas turbine equipment, compensators, furniture, and a developer of computer software.
The Novgorod export support center noted that each enterprise-SME or individual entrepreneur can choose an electronic platform for themselves, depending on the specifics of the product or service.
The Russian export center JSC, in turn, also notes the interest of exporters in electronic platforms. In total, over the past month, about 1,500 Russian companies have registered for them.
– Electronic trading platforms allow you to test the market, feel the demand, predict future deliveries, and find potential partners, - the REC stressed.
