Russian Export Center summarized interim results of nationwide implementation of Regional Export Standard 2.0, the key indicator of the “International Cooperation and Export” national project. Novgorod Region ranked fifth among 11 entities of the Northwestern Federal District.
The Standard contains 15 extensive instruments and envisages the performance of a broad list of activities. These include training of management teams, development of the local export development program, efficient operation of the Export Support Center, introduction of export support measures, international promotion of products manufactured by regional companies, etc. 7 instruments of the Standard were implemented in the Novgorod Region within 7 months of this year.
The key objective of the national project and the Regional Export Standard is to create a comprehensive support system for non-resource and non-energy export in the regions.
