Results of the National Investment Attractiveness Rating of Regions were announced at the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Novgorod Region moved up from the 7th to the 5th position in it and showed the best results in the Northwest. In 2020 our region held the 11th position, it was number fourteen in 2019 and number twenty nine in 2018.
The rating is calculated on the basis of business community surveys. In particular, it assesses such factors as speed and ease of administrative procedures, existence and quality of necessary infrastructure and resources, as well as business support measures in the region.
