The XV International Business Week 2022 Forum was held in Ufa. The business programme of the event focused on key issues in the development of Bashkortostan and Russia in the field of export, innovation, and investment. During the forum, current conditions and prospects for the business environment were discussed in plenary sessions, roundtables, discussion panels, and industry sections.
The event was attended by representatives of regional and federal government agencies, experts, entrepreneurs from various Russian regions, as well as colleagues from 24 foreign countries. The Novgorod Region was represented at the forum by Alexander Dementyev, director of the Agency for Development of Novgorod Region. He shared with his colleagues the experience of building interaction with foreign investors and working with them in the present conditions.
“Discussing important economic issues with a large number of people interested in finding new ideas for economic development always yields positive results for every region of Russia. International Business Week is a large scale and effective platform for constructive dialogue, where you can find answers to many questions,” shared Alexander Dementyev.
Also as part of the forum, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) organised an industrial tour for participants. It consisted of excursions to the Kronoshpan enterprise, the Ufa Industrial Park and the Management Centre of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
International Business Week 2022 is organised by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The co organisers were the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Export Centre, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Centre for Strategic Developments.
