On march 23 of 2022 the town of Borovichi has proudly hosted an opening ceremony for an industrial facility that will produce gas line and water standpipes. The director of the Novgorod region development agency Alexander Dementiev attended the event. This investment project has been initiated by CJSC “Peterpipe” , one of the Russia’s leaders in manufacturing this type of products.
According to the press office of “ Peterpipe” the facility in Borovichi is equipped with the latest technology. The first shipment of pipes will be used to help implement the “2021-2025 Novgorod region gas supply and gasification development program”. Simultaneously, launching this facility in Borovichi will allow to reduce time required to build gas pipelines not only in Novgorod region, but the surrounding regions as well.
The Novgorod region investment policy minister Denis Nosachev has emphasized the significance of this investment project.
“All investment projects are very important to us, mainly because they create job opportunities. In these times Novgorog region continues to offer desirable conditions for creating new industrial facilities. With the assistance of The Novgorod region development agency 33 investment projects amounting to 30,8 million rubles will be completed within 2022-2023. And 1400 jobs will be created. Those projects include industry, agriculture, tourism and city infrastructure. However, the “Peterpipe” project uniquely contributes to social well-being, as it will optimize the labor of gas industry workers, increase safety and increase the quality of life of our residents”, - the minister continued.
To reiterate, CJSC “Peterpipe” is on the list of the backbone companies of St. Petersburg.
The pipe shipments from Borovichi are now eagerly awaited in the entire country.
