The investment forum “Investing in tourism: trends and possibilities” was held in Chelyabinsk city on May 18th and 19th. This event became an opportunity to exchange experiences and practices in tourism industry and for meeting potential investors.
The deputy director of the Novgorod region development agency Victor Bykov, who is also the head of investment promoting and investment projects assisting department, attended the forum.
Within the forum many forms of activities took place. Among them are open discussions, round tables, case-sessions. The participants elaborated on a variety of topics related to tourism and its advancement in different regions, national tourist routes, tourism accessibility for disabled population. Additionally, the experts discussed the specifics of various sides of the tourism industry, including investments.
The participants visited the Chelyabinsk pipe mill “Height 239” which is one of the largest steal pipe manufacturers in Russia. Afterwards, they gathered in “My business” center for investment assisting and investment promoting practices exchange event, organized by “The National investment development agencies association”.
