The Italians Are Eager to Cooperate with Novgorod Region

A meeting of Russian-Italian business committee took place in Moscow in Russian chamber of Commerce and Industry on October, 15.

Director of Novgorod region development agency Alexander Dementiev and his deputy Victor Bykov held a number of working meetings with the president of Italian-Russian chamber of commerce Vincenzo Trani, vice-president of the association of Italian businessmen in Russia John Motta. The negotiations with the director of the representation of Italian-Russian chamber of commerce on Moscow Matisa Florio also took place.

The Novgorodians and their Italian colleagues expressed the willingness and the intention to interact in trade relations, as well as to cooperate in implementing investment projects with Italian capital. In other words, those companies which are already operating in Russia and are ready to expand, can consider Novgorod region as a site for constructing subsidiaries.

For establishing a deeper cooperation in trade direction, it is decided to organize a special meeting only for Novgorod business.
