Gut Trailer Ltd will invest into a new production site for trailers and semitrailers. About 1,6 million euro will be invested. The site will be located in the new SEZ “Novgorodskaya” in Trubichino.
Head of Novgorod region Andrey Nikitin and the company’s director Rudolph Merdian signed an agreement on June 2 within Saint Petersburg international economic forum. It was the 1st agreement signed at the forum.
Gut Trailer Ltd started to work in Novgorod region in January 2018. Today the company projects, produces and sells about 30 units of trailers and semitrailers per month. The equipment is sold to all the regions of Russia, CIS and European countries. When the company reaches its full production capacity annual turnover will be about 114,5 million euro.
The project will be implemented in 2022 – 2030. Already at the beginning 80 new jobs will appear.
“We’ll build new production areas according to out technical developments. It’ll let us increase the volume of produced goods. New jobs will also be one of the advantages. Due to the agreement we managed to be 5 – 6 years ahead of the time and of ourselves without big financial investments. In a couple of years, we will increase the production from 30 – 40 to 80 trailers per month. We won’t be able to achieve this ourselves. It’s very important for a new company. Now we have 70 jobs and are planning to increase them to 150. In future we will have 240 employees”, - told Rudolph Merdian.
Special economic zone “Novgorodskaya” will help to create favorable conditions for Russian and foreign companies within high-tech industries in mechanical engineering, radio electronics, pharmaceutical and other industries.
