Regional government discussed making engineering infrastructure for special economic zone “Novgorodskaya “ (SEZ). The head of the region and representatives of special economic zone “Alabuga” (Tatarstan) took part in the meeting.
According to vice governor Eugeny Bogdanov, infrastructure (roads, gas supply, water supply, sewerage) is the main task now. It is necessary to provide all the conditions for enterprises.
Infrastructure will be made in 2 steps. By September 2023 water supply and sewerage networks will be made, as well as heat supply and road for 1st “anchor” residents of SEZ – Techno Factory Ltd, Berdex Ltd, Gut Trailer Ltd. Factories will be built in parallel. By autumn 2023 all the 3 companies will start manufacturing. The 2nd step of creating SEZ will finish by the end of 2024, the entire infrastructure will be ready.
“Alabuga” team has been supporting the region from the 1st days of creating SEZ. It’ll also help to make infrastructure and to train specialists.
