In Veliky Novgorod, in addition to the operating business incubator “X10", a technopark of the same name appeared. The region’s head signed the order on February 17.
According to Novgorod region development agency, the manufacturer of wooden products for floristry and décor LLC “ITopper” became the 1st resident of the new technopark. Technopark X10 is ready to offer production, warehouse and office premises in a protected area with all communications to future residents. Over 1000 square meters are available in the technopark.
Businessmen can produce, carry out scientific investigations and development and work with IT-technologies in the technopark.
The technopark “X10” is the 3rd in Veliky Novgorod. The technopark “Garo” opened in 2018, “Transvit” – in 2020. There are 4 residents in the 1st technopark now: LLC “Novgorod innovation center”, JSC “Garo-Trade”, LLC “MP-SN” and the individual entrepreneur producing filling lines for drinks. In the 2nd technopark there are three residents: LLC PKF “Electron-Complex”, LLC “NPF TEO” and the individual entrepreneur specializing in metal processing.
-Our ministry has together with the Development agency started to create a network of private infrastructure relatively recently, but such objects have already proved their efficiency. Businessmen are interested in such a format. It is beneficial to be a resident of a technopark. New jobs are an advantage for the city. We will certainly continue to develop a modern infrastructure for business – commented Denis Nosachev, minister of investment policy of the region.
Recall that residents of technoparks are completely exempt from property tax for 5 years. During the same period residents can pay 13.5% income tax to the regional budget instead of 17%. In addition, the residents of the technopark who work with the use of a simplified taxation system and who have chosen income as the object of taxation receive a two percent rate. In accordance with regional legislation, these benefits for residents of technoparks are also valid for 5 years.
