A meeting with the representatives of one of the largest special economic zones in the Russian Federation “Alabuga” (Tatarstan) took place on September 14 in the center “My business”. The meeting was held by deputy chairman of the government of Novgorod region Evgeny Bogdanov. Minister of the investment policy of Novgorod region Denis Nosachev, director of Novgorod region development agency Alexander Dementiev and his deputy Victor Bykov took part in the meeting, too.
The main topic of the meeting was preparing of agreements between the government of Novgorod region and special economic zone “Alabuga” and Novgorod region development agency.
Stages of development of the territory of the future special economic zone in Novgorod region were worked out during the meeting, too.
Exchange of experience on creating special economic zones with the colleagues from Tatarstan has continued during the year. Within this period several meetings took place, the documents were worked out, land plots were inspected and proposals of their development were made.
Recall that the special economic zone in Novgorod region is planned on nine land plots with total area of 395 hectares located in the urban district of Veliky Novgorod, Novgorodsky and Chudovsky districts of Novgorod region.

Reduced rates of profit tax, property tax and transport tax will be applied in the special economic zone. Investors will be given engineering and manufacturing infrastructures, administrative accompanying in “one stop shop”-mode, guarantees for safety of the investments. Free customs zone will be applied in the special economic zone.
