On the 18th of August during his working visit to Borovichi Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrey Nikitin visited cardboard and paper factory.
The enterprise is a resident of Borovichi PSEDA since 2021. Currently the company employs 90 people. The value of products manufactured by the company during the first six months constituted almost 300 million rubles.
Currently the factory is implementing the “Arrangement of Paper and Cardboard Manufacturing” investment project. Construction of the new building is already completed, installation of equipment is underway. The total volume of investment is 851.6 million rubles, including a 250-million-ruble concessional loan granted by the Single-Industry Towns Development Fund.
The region’s head visited the production unit under construction as well as the paper and cardboard manufacturing facilities. Andrey Nikitin characterized the enterprise as “decent and modern”.
The factory’s General Director Garnik Safarian thanked the Governor for efficient interaction and prompt resolution of all matters. He announced that the company plans to put the new production unit into operation already in spring of 2023. This will help create 100 new jobs and increase the production volume fourfold.
The enterprise also needs to resolve the issue with building of accessways to the production site. The region’s head pointed out that it is planned to be accomplished on account of budget-funded infrastructure loans.
