Within the framework of the Investment Climate Improvement Council, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of the Novgorod Special Economic Zone was held. The experts were introduced to four more companies that apply for residency in the SEZ. The total investment in the region will be about 869 million roubles, with the creation of 311 new jobs.
JSC "New Pipes" plans to launch the production of polyethylene pipes for the construction of engineering networks. The volume of investments is 300 million roubles, it is expected to create over 80 new jobs. The company will occupy 7.5 thousand square metres in the production building, as well as 20,000 square metres of open storage. The launch of production is planned for the fourth quarter of 2024, reaching the design capacity in 2025.
Elkom group of companies intends to organise the production of electric heat guns. The planned capacity at the first stage is 36 thousand units per year. The volume of investments is 152 million roubles, more than 40 new jobs will be created. The start of production is planned for the first quarter of 2024, and in the third quarter - reaching full production capacity.
The Energotek company is going to launch the production of cable protection systems. The investor will invest more than 120 million roubles. The company will need about 50 specialists. It is planned to start production at the end of 2024, to reach the design capacity in 2025.
HST LLC plans to produce super concentrates and functional additives based on polymers in the region. The production capacity will be 8 thousand tons per year. Almost 300 million roubles will be allocated for the implementation of the project, more than 120 jobs will be created. Already at the beginning of 2024, production will be launched.
Governor Andrey Nikitin supported the projects and noted that all of them would be in demand in the region. Upon successful completion of the Expert Council, companies will receive the status of residents of the SEZ.
