According to regional ministry of investment policy, business-mission of small and medium enterprises of Novgorod region to Qatar took place during the 1st days of March. The business-mission was organized by Novgorod center of export support with the help pf regional ministry of investment policy.
Our delegation included representatives of several companies: LLC “Eco Trade” (production of organic-mineral fertilizers), LLC “Reserve Region” (production of organic sapropel), LLC “Honey house” (production of honey, honey products, tea), LLC “Beresta” (production of ceramics with birch bark inserts). The head of the delegation was the director of the center Tatyana Lavrentieva.
During the visit Novgorod businessmen met large agricultural manufacturers of the middle eastern state, distributors of fertilizers. The subjects of the discussion were export deliveries of Novgorod products, tests of organic-mineral fertilizer and organic sapropel at the production facilities of Qatar three large enterprises.
-It is a very important result of the business trip, which will let us recommend unique Novgorod products in the Quatar fertilizer market, and in future in all the Persian Gulf countries. Novgorod companies started collecting documents for registering their products on the territory of Qatar, - commented Novgorod center of export support.
Negotiations of representatives of LLC “Honey house” finished by discussing conditions of export contracts, too. The largest distributors of food in Qatar commended the quality, variety of the products of the enterprise from Batetsky district and wanted to see in on the shelves of their country’s distribution networks.
The business-mission also let Tatyana Lavrentieva meet the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation in the State of Quatar Nurmakhad Holov. The director of the center introduced export potential of Novgorod companies and the goods which the center is planning to market in Qatar.
Due to the support of the Embassy’s staff, negotiations with the head of the agricultural department of the ministry of municipalities and environment of the State of Qatar Faleh bin Naser Al-Tani took place.
Business-mission to Qatar is the first business trip organized by Novgorod center of export support this year. It is also planned to visit Germany and receiving foreign delegations from Norway and Spain. Besides, other directions of developing export in Novgorod region are being worked out.
