In Novosibirsk, as part of the InPark 2022 All Russian Forum of Development and Investment Territories, participants in the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s methodological programme Infrastructure Development Leaders defended their projects. For 5 months, teams from 30 Russian regions studied the practical aspects of managing industrial parks and industrial technology parks.
The Novgorod regional team included Maksim Vasin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the region, Viktor Bykov, Deputy Director, Head of Investment Attraction and Investment Project Support Department of the Agency for Development of Novgorod Region, and Irina Chunina, Director of Transvit Technology Park.
At the end of the training, the team defended an investment project to create the Transvit Industrial Technology Park. It was highly praised by the expert jury, which included representatives from the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and experts from the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and Special Economic Zones of Russia.
“Over the past five years, the Government of the Novgorod Region has pursued a consistent policy of developing an innovative infrastructure to support SMEs. The Transvit Industrial Technology Park that is being created will be an important link in the lifecycle of many innovative companies that will be able to go on to start production and commercialisation,” commented Viktor Bykov.
As part of the InPark Forum business programme, participants visited the Novosibirsk Science and Technology Park and the Industrial and Logistics Park of the Novosibirsk Region.
Technology parks in the Novgorod Region function within the framework of the “Formation and Development of Modern Infrastructure in the Novgorod Region for Entities Involved in Investment and Business Activities in 2022” priority regional project. It is aimed at the increase of investment activity and support of small and medium business.
