In the near future, a new, 11th, resident, PA Lenkabel LLC, will be registered in the territory of an advanced development Borovichi. The enterprise has already begun to produce cable and wire products, but the status of a resident and related benefits will allow it to increase its capacity and employ more than 100 people. The investor plans to invest over 130 million roubles.
On June 19, the investor's application for residency was unanimously supported by members of the commission. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region. Positive conclusions of the Ministry of Investment, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, as well as the administration of the Borovichi district will allow the regional government, the administration of the Borovichi urban settlement and PA LENKABEL to conclude an agreement on residency.
“Recently, both in the territories of advanced development, and in the special economic zone, and in our technoparks, we can see strong medium-sized projects. It is they who make our economy stable and most quickly adapt to external circumstances.” commented Denis Nosachev, Minister of Investment Policy of the region.
The investor confirmed the seriousness of his intentions by signing an agreement at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on the establishment of cable and wire production in Borovichi. Residency in the territory of an advanced development guarantees a number of privileges. So, in the first five years of work at the TAD, the property of enterprises will not be taxed, and in the next five years it will be 1.1%. The rate of the federal part of the income tax is 3%, but a TAD resident is exempt from payment for five years after receiving the first profit. The regional income tax is as follows: the standard rate is 17%, the preferential rate is 5% for the first five years and 10% for the next five years.
The Borovichi and Uglovka TADs function within the framework of the priority regional project “Formation and Development of Modern Infrastructure in the Novgorod Region for Entities Involved in Investment and Business Activities”. It is aimed to increase an investment activity and a support for small and medium-sized businesses.
