The company “Kelast” of the holding “Powerz” has finished implementing the investment project on developing the manufacturing site. Total amount of investments is over 2,1 million USD. The money was spent on buying new equipment, reconstructing and renovating buildings, expanding the manufacturing area. The final phase of the project was opening of a modern office building of total area 734 square meters.
On February, 18, the floors of the enterprise’s workshops and new office were visited by the governor of Novgorod region Andrey Nikitin. He examined the workshop for the producing quick-detachable insulation, the carpentry section, where they produce wooden equipment for fabric expansion joints and containers for transporting finished products, the packaging and storage areas of finished products, as well as the assembly workshop for fabric expansion joints.
“It is difficult for large companies to reach stable economy, because it depends on a big quantity of factors. It is great that middle enterprises are developing in Novgorod region, which can react more flexibly on the market’s demands and to carry out versatile work with their customers. Besides, it is one more manufacturing site where many young people are working”, - noted the governor.
According to CEO of the holding “Powerz” Maxim Muratshin, the company “Kelast” manufactures products for the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline and cooperates with large companies. For example, with Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil. 116 people currently work for LLC “Kelast”, the number of employees is growing every year. In total, the holding “Powerz” has about 300 employees.
The main aims of the holding “Powerz” are comprehensive engineering, design and manufacture of equipment for enterprises in the energy, metallurgical and oil and gas industries. This is the only company in Russia working on import substitution in this market segment. “Kelast” is an innovative Russian company in the market of engineering and production of fabric expansion joints, asbestos-free sealing materials, asbestos-free thermal insulation materials.
