Representatives of Finnish business society visited Veliky Novgorod on September, 20. Guests from Imatra, Kotka, Lappeenranta wondered about opportunities to run business in the region. The accent was made on such areas as tourism, immovables, trade, scientific developments. The visit of the businessmen was organized and met by Novgorod region development agency, but initial interest arose after the presentation of the region by the director-general of ANO TO “Novgorod Rus” Natalya Omarova in Helsinki on May, 22, 2019.
The companies of the business-incubator “DaPark” were shown to the Finnish delegation. In the business-incubator the director of Novgorod region development agency Alexander Dementiev introduced the region and told about possible lines for investment.
The Finnish guests also visited technopark “Garo”. There they were guided by the shareholder of the technopark Andrey Alekseiev. He showed the activities of the residents and the training center.
Certainly, it is only a small part of the opportunities which can be given by Novgorod region for developing Finnish business, but this was just the first introduction trip. We are sure that the Finnish businessmen will be able to implement their ideas on Novgorod land.
