The government has expanded the list of industries affected by the coronavirus

The government has updated the list of industries mostly affected by the spread of coronavirus infection. According to the Decree No 657 from May, 12, 2020, signed by acting prime-minister Andrey Belousov, trade via automatic machines and making folk crafts products were added to the list. OKVED (Russian Classification of Economic Activities) codes 47.19.1 and 47.19.2 have been replaced by 47.19.

At the beginning of April, the government approved the list of industries which more than others had the negative impact of the pandemic. Initially automobile and avia transportation; culture, leisure and entertainment; organizing conferences and exhibitions; fitness and sports; tourist business and hotels; public catering; additional education; beauty salons, repairs and other domestic services were considered to be such industries. Later the list of the industries which will be the first ones to get state support was expanded several times.
