A new production facility will open near Veliky Novgorod

A production facility for the production of rotogravure shafts with stamping will be opened in the Leshino village, Novgorod region. The project is implemented by UpakRoto LLC. Recently, it was presented at the Council under the Governor of the Novgorod Region on improving the investment climate.
According to Olga Smirnova, the company's CEO, the company will use advanced laser engraving technology to produce intaglio printing cylinders and embossing shafts for wallpaper and flexible packaging. Production is scheduled to start in the 2-3 quarter of the current year.
"We are the only ones in Russia who own laser engraving equipment with the method of deep embossing. Today we use it at our production site in Moscow. In the future, we will move it to the Novgorod region, to a new site. At the end of 2024, we purchased the building and equipment of a printing plant that had left the market in the village of Leshino. This will allow us to increase our production capacity due to the expansion in the North-West," Olga Smirnova said.
The volume of investments in the project will exceed 234 million rubles. At the initial stage, 37 jobs will be created.
We would like to add that the implementation of new investment projects in the Novgorod Region contributes to achieving the goals of the federal project "Increasing Investment Activity", which is part of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy". At all stages of project implementation, investors are accompanied by the Novgorod Region Development Agency, an organization subordinate to the regional Ministry of Investment Policy.
