The new 11th resident of the Novgorodskaya SEZ is "Russkii Svet Cable Plant" LLC. The Ministry of Economic Development of Russia supported the project and issued a resident certificate. In the SEZ, the investor plans to launch the production of power cables.
The total investment for this project will be 1.8 billion roubles, excluding VAT. Of this, 1.7 billion roubles will be allocated for capital investments, also excluding VAT. The production volume from 2026 will be almost 50 thousand km per year. The project will create 266 jobs for the Novgorod region, - said the First Deputy Governor of the Novgorod Region Evgenii Bogdanov.
Artur Zabotin, Senior Advisor to the Novgorodskaya SEZ, noted that the investor has extensive experience in manufacturing such products and has established distribution channels through dealer networks of federal market operators. The main supplier of materials and components will be the JSC "Novgorodskii metallurgicheskij zavod".
