In Malaya Vishera, the Vologda Timber Industry Group is modernizing "LDK No. 3" LLC. The corresponding investment project was presented at the Council under the Governor of the Novgorod Region for Improving the Investment Climate.
According to Vyacheslav Kanatov, Managing Director of "LDK No. 3" LLC, investing in the plant will allow for an increase in sawing capacity by 85,000 m³ per year and the production of structures for wooden house construction.
- The investment project has two stages: until 2028, there will be modernization and the opening of a modern dry sorting workshop with automation. This will create 22 new jobs. The second stage involves the establishment of a workshop for glued wooden structures with high-tech equipment. This stage will create 44 additional jobs. The project runs until 2032. The volume of investments will exceed 2 billion rubles," Vyacheslav Kanatov said.
The speaker underlined that the modernization of the enterprise is an extremely important measure, since the main production line is outdated and limits the plant's capabilities.
The members of the Council unanimously supported the project. It is being supported by the Novgorod Region Development Agency. It works with investors on a one-stop basis. The Agency supports entrepreneurs at all stages of business development.
In addition, the implementation of investment projects in the region contributes to achieving the goals of the Federal Project "Increasing Investment Activity," which is part of the National Project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
