Moroccan Businessmen Want to Cooperate with the Novgorod Producers

The Novgorod Export Support Centre organised a visit to the region for representatives of two Moroccan companies. The first one is engaged in fertilisers, and the second one in wood processing. On 3 December 2024, the visitors held negotiations with CEOs of 11 Novgorod’s specialised enterprises at Intelligent Electronics — Valdai Innovative Science and Technology Centre. The participants were greeted by Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region Denis Nosachev.

“The Kingdom of Morocco is one of the promising export destinations on the African market. The businesses of Novgorod have been steadily exporting their goods to this country since 2016, albeit in small amounts. The range of products is not too wide. At the same time, the interest in Morocco is significant. In May 2024, together with the Novgorod Export Support Centre, we held an “Hour with the Trade Representative” of Russia in Morocco and became convinced of the importance of cooperation with the Kingdom and the mutual interest. We hope that today's event will help us strengthen and expand the partnership,” said Denis Nosachev.

Omar Dehbi, Import Manager of Qoot Commodities Trading International, and Ilya Khmami, CEO and founder of Export-Import, in turn, emphasised their openness to and readiness for all forms of cooperation. They briefly introduced their companies and, before holding individual negotiations, listened to presentations made by the Novgorod entrepreneurs. Thus, the NOVBIOTECH Company since 2010 has been conducting research and development in the field of technology for plant growth stimulation with non-ionising laser radiation.
