In Svetlogorsk, Kaliningrad Region, the awarding ceremony of the winners of the district stage of the All-Russian Export Award “Exporter of the Year” in the North-West Federal District was held. Representatives of the Russian Export Center, federal ministries and heads of regional executive authorities, among whom the Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region Denis Nosachev, presented awards and diplomas to the best enterprises that have made a significant contribution to the development of domestic exports. For example, JSC "ENERGOMASH" from the city of Chudovo in the Novgorod region took third place in the "Exporter of the Year in Mechanical Engineering" category (small and medium-sized enterprises). Novgorodproduct LLC won gold in the "Trader of the Year" category (large businesses), and Maria Kirsanova, the company's executive director, took third place in the "Best Female Exporter" category (large businesses). "Bodo", a children's clothing brand, won second place in the "Best Exporter in E-commerce" category.
Denis Nosachev noted that each of the contest winners is making the Novgorod region famous in Russia and beyond. Speaking at a regional meeting held on the day of the ceremony, the Minister said that the Novgorod region is the first in the North-West in terms of implementing the Regional Export Standard.

For example, in addition to subsidizing the costs of participating in exhibitions, logistics, and certification, the Novgorod Small Business Support Fund provides loans at a low interest rate for these purposes. The results of this comprehensive approach are tangible: the volume of non-resource-based non-energy exports has increased by 29%, and the number of exporters has increased by 63%. The geography of exports has expanded, and each unit of budget support generates an average of nine times more export revenue.

In addition, the Exporter of the Year award is held as part of the National Project "International Cooperation and Export." The process of determining winners and prize-winners takes place in two stages: first, the best companies are identified at the level of each federal district, and then the absolute champions are selected from among the leaders of the district stages. They will be awarded on October 21 in Moscow at the International Export Forum "Made in Russia."
