A year ago, entering the Chinese market seemed an unsolvable task for LLC Stashevskoye Bio, and today the manufacturer of gluten-free oat flakes from the Novgorod region supplies its products to China.
According to Tatiana Koroleva, Deputy General Director of Stashevskoye BIO LLC, the company has been actively developing its export activities over the past few years. In September 2024, the company decided to participate in a business mission in St. Petersburg. There, Stashevskoye BIO's specialists met with Chinese representatives and learned about the requirements for entering the Chinese market and the need to obtain a CIFER certificate. A month later, in November, the company's employees traveled to Shanghai as part of a delegation from Novgorod, where they attended an international exhibition and established their first business contacts. In May of this year, Stashevskoe BIO took part in the SIAL Shanghai 2025 exhibition at the Russian Export Center's stand.
-Thanks to our accumulated experience, active negotiations, and the perseverance of our team, we were able to sign our first contract with a Chinese partner. At every stage, we were assisted by the Novgorod Export Support Center, which provided us with consulting services and co-financing for certification. Thanks to this support, we successfully passed the CIFER certification and made our first shipment to China. We would like to thank the center's specialists for their assistance and professionalism. Our example demonstrates that with systematic efforts and the support of regional institutions, even a small company can successfully enter the international market," says Tatiana Koroleva.
As a reminder, the Novgorod Export Support Center provides free services to businesses with the assistance of the regional Ministry of Investment Policy as part of the National projects "International Cooperation and Export" and "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
