The My Business Centre in the Novgorod Region celebrated its fourth anniversary. It was opened on 19 November 2019 with the assistance of the regional Ministry of Investment Policy under the Small and Medium Entrepreneurship Presidential National Project.
More than 23,000 legal entities, individual entrepreneurs and self-employed persons have used the Centre’s services. More than 80,000 services were provided by the centre’s 12 residents. More than 33,500 people took part in nearly 2,000 events.
“The My Business Centre is made up of 12 organisations that provide entrepreneurs with a full range of services to help them start and develop their own business. My Business Centre is a modern brand. It stands for support, trust and partnership. I am delighted that My Business has become the epicentre of important entrepreneurial events. It has hosted an average of two events a day over the years. This is where entrepreneurs meet, communicate, negotiate and develop new projects. Young people have been visiting the My Business Centre more frequently recently. Students explore entrepreneurship, learning the basics to connect their lives to business. Making the centre attractive to different generations united by a passion for entrepreneurship is our great achievement,” Denis Nosachev, Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod region commented.
The My Business Centre services and activities are adapted and supplemented on an annual basis, based on feedback from entrepreneurs and their needs. This year, for example, the Centre expanded the list of supported e-markets. Namely, Yandex.Market and the Livemaster were added to the list. The Centre has started to help the self-employed to register trademarks. In addition, a number of promotions were carried out with federal operators Ozon, VK and HeadHunter in the departing year.
Next year, the centre will open a representative office in the Borovichi town. Entrepreneurs from neighbouring areas will be welcome.
