NOVTEX LLC has received a certificate confirming its registration as a resident of the Novgorodskaya Special Economic Zone. The resident is launching a project to create a production facility for non-woven textile materials made from polyethylene fibers. This project will help to replace imported products and strengthen Russia's technological sovereignty.
The production facility is scheduled to be launched by the end of this year. Once it reaches its full capacity, it will produce 288 tons of products per year. The total amount of investment in the first stage of the project is 135 million rubles. About 60 jobs will be created, - says Denis Nosachev, Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region. - NOVTEX has become the 13th resident of the special economic zone. Six companies are already operating in the SEZ, and several are preparing to open. It is planned that all residents will create about 1,700 jobs, and more than 500 jobs have already been created.
As a reminder, the Novgorod Special Economic Zone operates as part of the priority regional project "Formation and Development of Modern Infrastructure for Investment and Entrepreneurial Activities in the Novgorod Region." This project aims to increase investment activity and achieve the goals of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
