The 13th resident will appear in the Novgorodskaya SEZ

A meeting of the expert council of the Novgorodskaya SEZ was held in the regional government. It was conducted by the first Deputy Governor of the Novgorod region Evgenii Bogdanov.
"Today we will consider the investment project of NOVTEX LLC to create a production of special-purpose technical textiles made of polyethylene fibers in the special economic zone. The investment volume for the project will amount to 135 million rubles. As a result of the project, about 60 high-performance jobs will be created in the Novgorod region," says Evgenii Bogdanov.
The members of the expert council supported the investor's application. This will allow the Ministry of Investment Policy to send documents to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia to obtain a certificate of a resident of the Novgorodskaya SEZ. NOVTEX will become the 13th resident of the special economic zone.
From 2022 to 2024, 12 companies became residents of the SEZ: two in 2022 and five organizations each in 2023 and 2024. Areas of activity of residents: production of transformer substations, electrical appliances, automotive components, heat guns, production of polyethylene pipes for the construction of gas pipelines, polymer systems for laying and protecting cable lines, polymer-based superconcentrates, aluminum cookware with non-stick coating, electronic devices, power cable. The total amount of investments declared by residents is 9.1 billion rubles. It is planned to create over 1,500 high-performance jobs.
It should be recalled that the Novgorodskaya SEZ operates within the framework of the priority regional project "Formation and development of modern infrastructure for investment and business entities in the Novgorod Region." It is aimed at increasing investment activity and achieving the goals of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
