The development of the Transvit technology parks in Veliky Novgorod will continue with the support of deputies

In Veliky Novgorod, the deputies of the Novgorod Regional Duma visited JSC Transvit and the regional and federal technology parks of the same name operating on its premises. Next year, Transvit will celebrate its 65th anniversary. The enterprise has experienced many events and overcome many difficulties. Today, it is a successful production facility that manufactures transformers, power supplies for industrial and household radio equipment, printed circuit boards, and various lighting fixtures. According to Sergey Shabunin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Transvit JSC, the Transvit group of companies has about 700 employees. He also noted that the creation of a technology park has led to a significant increase in the company's development. The use of Transvit's infrastructure by small and medium-sized businesses and cooperation with regional SMEs have allowed the group of companies to become more stable and make a significant contribution to supporting small high-tech production companies.

The Transvit regional technology park was established in 2020, and it has 27 residents, including individual entrepreneurs and legal entities. In the first stage of the Transvit industrial technology park project, two production buildings and technological infrastructure facilities, including a congress and exhibition hall and an engineering center, were constructed and put into operation in 2023-2024. The project cost over 480 million rubles, with approximately 372.5 million rubles allocated from the federal budget. This year, the Transvit development project was selected competitively by the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia and 200 million rubles were allocated from the federal budget for the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy", while the amount of regional financing will amount to 50 million rubles. The total cost of the Transvit development project will exceed 379 million rubles, including investments from the founders and investors. There are currently 4 residents in the industrial technopark Transvit. It is planned that by 2030 there will be 30 of them.
- Transvit Technopark is one of the most successful regional technoparks. From the very first days of its creation, colleagues from Transvit have been involved in attracting residents who are eligible for tax incentives. The regional program for the development of technoparks and the subsequent receipt of a federal subsidy for the creation of a federal technopark have helped Transvit to update its own facilities and attract interesting residents. Another important effect is the intra-factory cooperation, where residents and companies within the Transvit group exchange their competencies, experience, and technologies. Sometimes, against this backdrop, unexpected cooperation chains emerge, helping to create new products here in our region," the Minister of Investment commented.

Nikolai Veriga, Chairman of the Novgorod Regional Duma Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, Small and medium-sized Enterprises and Innovative Development, in turn, noted that Transvit is developing, producing new products, and improving those that were previously released.

- We, as the legislative authority that approves the budget, will monitor its work and promote further development, - emphasized Nikolay Veriga.

During the visit, the deputies visited Transvit's production facilities and met with two residents of the industrial technology park: ESI Volkhov LLC and N3Kom LLC. The former company produces electrical voltage converters, while the latter specializes in telecommunications equipment, including for telecom operators.

In addition, the technology parks in the Novgorod Region operate as part of the priority regional project "Formation and Development of Modern Infrastructure for Investment and Entrepreneurial Activities in the Novgorod Region." This project is aimed at achieving the goals of the National project "Efficient and Competitive Economy."
