In 2025, the Novgorod Special Economic Zone was included in the top 10 industrial and production-type special economic zones in the country and won the «Breakthrough of the Year» nomination in the 9th National Rating of Investment Attractiveness of Russia's Special Economic Zones. The rating was prepared by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation in collaboration with the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks, and Special Economic Zones of Russia.
Additionally, three companies became residents of the Special Economic Zone last year: «Novtex» LLC, «Fort Verny» LLC, and «Litunum-Pro» LLC.
«Novtex» LLC, which received resident status in May 2025, launched the production of special technical textiles made of polyethylene fibers ahead of schedule just 117 days later. The resident has set up a facility in a ready-made production building.
«Fort Verny» will build a plant in the SEZ for the production of metal powders, special paints, and their components, and «Litunum-Pro» will implement a project for the production of housings and components for PROMLED LED lamps.
- Another resident of the SEZ, «Blazar», will also begin building a plant in the near future. The plant will produce electrical products. «The Fort Verny», «Litinum-Pro», and «Blazar» projects for the construction of factories on land plots involve the creation of 190 jobs and investments of more than 1.3 billion rubles, says the Denis Nosachev, Minister of Investment Policy of the Novgorod Region.
At the same time, the development of existing enterprises continued. In 2024, at SPIEF, «Energotek» signed an investment agreement with the regional government to invest 300 million rubles in its production, and in 2025, the investor launched the second stage of a plant producing spiral multi-layer systems for protecting high-voltage cables.
According to the SEZ Management Company, «Novye Truby» JSC is installing the second stage of production of corrugated pipes with a diameter of 100 to 600 mm. In October 2025, the resident produced a thousandth batch of pipes for gas distribution networks. The resident, «Marshall FT» LLC, has expanded its product range from 15 to 77 types.
As a reminder, the Novgorod Special Economic Zone operates as part of the priority regional project «Formation and Development of Modern Infrastructure for Investment and Entrepreneurial Activities in the Novgorod Region». This project is aimed at achieving the goals of the national project «Efficient and Competitive Economy».
