The Novgorod Special Economic Zone presented its potential for attracting Uzbek partners and implementing joint projects at the II Russian-Uzbek Regional Council. The event was held in the Moscow region.
As part of the Council's business program, Artur Zabotin, Senior Advisor to the Novgorod Special Economic Zone, shared his experience in establishing the SEZ and discussed the products produced by the zone's residents that may be of interest to Uzbek partners. He also introduced the Novgorod Special Economic Zone to major industrial enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan that are planning to enter the Russian market.
According to Artur Zabotin, the Council of Regions of Russia and Uzbekistan is an excellent platform for sharing experience and finding new business partners.
- We see great potential for joint projects. The participation of representatives of the Novgorod Special Economic Zone in such events helps to open up new opportunities for businesses in both countries, -– commented Artur Zabotin.
Currently, two residents of the Novgorodskaya SEZ – Mixar and Energotek companies – are successfully supplying their products to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The Novgorodskaya SEZ is being developed as part of the priority regional project “Formation and development of modern infrastructure for investment and entrepreneurial activities in the Novgorod Region”. It is also aimed at solving the tasks of the National project “Efficient and Competitive Economy”.
